We are very pleased indeed with the keen and very professional service of Owen Davenport Ltd in securing for us full planning permission for a contemporary house in Conwy on the border of Snowdonia National Park. They dealt with all objections efficiently and courteously and by working in close cooperation with the Architects dealt with numerous mandatory planning and design requirements. They gave good advice at all stages of both the outline and full planning application stages and represented us at the Council Planning meeting. We could not have secured this planning application without them.
Jamie Bradshaw of Owen Devenport Ltd was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. He dealt with our case in the most efficient way, every email and phone call answered promptly and everything we needed to do was explained clearly and the case was put together professionally by Jamie and the team at Owen Devenport and then submitted to CCBC. The decision was successful and I would not hesitate in recommending the company to anyone needing to submit a planning application.
I would just like to give this well earned testimonial to Owen Devenport's expertise please.
I now have two successful planning applications two years apart for two enterprises, and cannot thank you and Berwyn enough.
The two marathons you have endured to get two successful planning applications through the council's planning department!
I would recommend your services to anyone undertaking planning matters, and wouldn't use anyone else for this service.
Thank you once again for bringing everything to fruition, when at times it certainly appeared to be such a tortured process!
We were very pleased with the outcome of a recent planning consent which Jamie secured on our behalf. Jamie doggedly stuck to the task, focusing on relevant policy and exerting pressure on the local authority when required in order to push the consent through.
Jamie Bradshaw at Owen Devenport Ltd was personally recommended to me by another company within the industry as we had a rather ‘off the wall project’ within an environmentally sensitive geographical area. The area is designated Heritage Coast, SSSI, AONB and SAC. The project involved gaining planning consent for a set of cliff edge steps (apx 50m) down to a beach area and as such working with NRW, Anglesey Planning Officers, Landscape Officers and Environmental Officers. The project also included intra project involvement with a local engineering firm who designed the steps initially by using drone technology. Consent was gained within 12 months under Jamie’s professional stewardship. I can wholeheartedly recommended the professional services of Owen Devenport Ltd.
We would like to thank all at Owen Devenport for their hard work and professionalism while negotiating on our behalf to remove a section 106 agricultural clause which was placed on our property during planning process.
Our property was for sale for approximately 4 years, but the restrictions imposed by the local planning authority meant that buyers were unable or not allowed to buy the property. A major issue was that prospective purchasers were unable to secure a mortgage. Even though we had saved and borrowed to build the property, we did not feel that we owned the property as the final say was always with local planning authority.
Owen Devenport, with their hard work, dedication and thoroughness have been successful in removing the restrictions. We felt that everyone at the office was approachable and we were kept informed at every step. We now feel that we can finally look forward and make our own plans for the future.
